WHAT MATTERS | Comprehensive Community Plan

Vision For Our Future.

Developing the Future

The 5-Year Economic Development Strategic Plan envisioned by Lake Cowichan First Nation includes transformational developments that will benefit the Nation for generations to come.

Included in the plan are over 100 units of waterfront residential housing, an exciting new Ts’ustca-as Health Center, and a mixed-use, co-managed recreational park on a community Forest License on Bald Mountain. These are the initial projects envisioned by Lake Cowichan First Nations in its 5-Year Economic Development Strategic Plan.

These key projects will be the building blocks for providing economic self-sustainability for our Nation today, for our children’s children, and beyond.

Our Projects

To build a solid foundation for our current and future generations, and to grow and prosper, the community has been engaged and is fully supportive of the initiatives described in its Comprehensive Community Development Plan (CCDP).
